Let me start by saying I have bought furniture multiple times in the past and NEVER had troubles.
I was new to the area with no furniture. This place was recommended. So I went to store on 9/5/12 for a leather reclining sofa. Left after buying 2 twin size beds, a floor model recliner, and the sofa I was looking for.... Spent about $2000 The beds and recliner were supposed to be delivered a few days later with the sofa delivered 4 weeks(9/29) later(truck to arrive and then they would deliver it..)
The first delvery day came and I didn't recieve a call, instead they were waiting outside of my apartment stating that they had called me several times. Ended up they had the wrong number. When they unloaded the furniture they only had the beds. Exactly correct. I also asked where the recliner was and suddenly the chair would not be there until 9/15. This was unacceptable because I had no furniture! They decided they would deliver it the next day(9/9/12). Recliner showed up as stated the second time.
When I called to the store I also made sure they had the right phone number. They did. EXACTLY CORRECT.
The "second" delivery date came and went with no phone call. I called the store 9/30, they said the truck was not in and they would have my sales person(Rocky) call me. No call. No messages. No letters in the mail. No anything.
I called several more times in the next week and finally on 10/11 my sales person was available to talk. He stated that the recliner would not be in for yet another month.
He also stated that he had called me "several times" and left messages, which I do not believe because he read back the phone number and it was exactly my phone number and I had 0 messages or missed calls from him or RoomStore. Needless to say I am exetremely unhappy with the RoomStore.
As of right now my sales person is "talking to his supervisor". He tried to offer me a loaner couch. I don't want a loaner couch(used couches are great if you pay used prices). Instead, I want to be compensated for all of the inconvienences this company has put me through. If somehow they make this right I will update this review but I am guessing they don't care.
