  • Instead of recommending one roll over another, I will simply tell you what my wife and I order repeatedly when we visit the place. Keep in mind that that we have been coming to this place for about 10 years probably at least 2-3 times a month (we are locals), so we tried pretty much every thing on the menu. I also try to schedule all my business lunches at this place. First of all - come in hungry, try to sit at the bar and order all you can eat. Order no more than half the roll so you try more. Start off with seafood salad (just a bit spicy). Go ahead and order wet dream (full roll) - it will take a while to prepare. I take mine with sliced jalapeños to bring out the flavor. In the meantime ask to try: Son of a beach, no name, happy ending, striptease, one minute man, ask for chef's own creation - they will hook you up if you continue to praise them. Also place an order of baked mussels with the waiter. If you are new to sushi try salmon roll, I love salmon roll, or simply California roll. Don't forget to tip both - your waiter and the chef who prepared the food. They will remember you and take care of you next time. Expect some wait time during high traffic hours (like Friday or Saturday night or weekend lunch. Do expect the place to be crowded . Still - highly recommended.
