| - We recently bought a GE Profile fridge from Spencer's. Our salesman, Kevin, was great to work with and gave us a good price. When the fridge was delivered, it made a very loud duck-quacking sound. We declined to accept it and they took it away. Two days later they brought a 2nd fridge. When they opened the box, this one was badly dented all over. We declined delivery and they took it away. The next day they brought a 3rd fridge. This one didn't fit into the space -- was too tall and was hitting the cupboard above the fridge; also, the water dispenser didn't work. So we declined to accept it and they took it away. The next day they brought a 4th fridge. This one also didn't fit, but everything was working. Kevin at Spencer's checked with the GE regional rep and we learned that this fridge has been re-engineered and is slightly taller than before. Kevin offered to provide a carpenter to trim our cabinetry so the fridge could slide in. My husband thanked him, but said that he could do this work himself. Spencer's refunded $100 for our trouble and extended our warranty. Although this sounds like an awful experience, the only problem was being without a fridge for a week. But things happen, and Spencer's did their best to make it right -- Kevin even followed up with us on his day off, on a Friday evening, to be sure that everything was being taken care of. The new fridge is in place and we like it very much -- looks great and so far it is performing well. We would buy from Spencer's again and we would definitely recommend Kevin.
