  • I planned this trip because me and my wife came to Vegas for our anniversary and she had never been to the Grand Canyon so I thought it would be nice to take her. So I googled Grand Canyon tours and a couple of options came up. This company had the best website and most information. I booked the western rim tour I thought this was the best deal. We were emailed our tickets promptly within 10 minutes I looked on trip advisor and was scared from some of the reviews so I tried to prepare myself for every situation. We were told that we were to be picked up at 610 am. Driver was there right on time. He was very nice and upbeat tried to make some jokes to brighten the mood. He transported it is to the main hub were we check in and we are given a sticker to wear a cup of coffee water and a Danish snack. The coffee was great and much needed and the snack was nice they don't need to give this to us but they do. The never tried to up sell anything to me when we were there so I don't know what some reviewers were talking about. The driver was super cool his name was Lindsay i believe and he had a tough job because there were a lot of people who did not speak or understand English. He played a pbs documentary and would occasionally stop and give us some nice history about the area we were passing. We stopped at a gas station and we were given our lunches and they tasted pretty good and filled us up. The driver was great on timing. Got to the canyon and omg it was amazing there were three parts to it the driver told us not to go to the first part which is a corny western style town glad we did not go there. The next point is where the skywalk is and here I was a little upset because I thought I paid for the west rim package with the skywalk. I paid for me an my wife and wow it is really amazing. Get there early because no cameras are allowed you have to go through security and there is a long line. When I got back to the hotel I went to the website and realizes I was wrong and I didn't book the right package. I really wish I would have been up selled by the company here lol. The last part is guano point and that was amazing here also there is a place to eat at each point and the food smelled really good here but me and my wife weren't hungry yet. The driver told us to be back by 215 and we listened we had more than enough time to look at all the sites but of course there are people who don't listen to the driver nor do they understand English so we had to wait a little longer. We finally were all set and left back for Vegas. The driver got us back very quickly I think by 7 we were in Vegas. It took us an hour to get through traffic. Yes the driver at the end mentioned that he was in the service industry and they do rely on tips for survival. He did not tell us how much to give but please have some class and give him a five dollar bill and not spare change you just spent 20 dollars to stuff your face at a gas station with food you can spare a couple of dollars don't be rude. Our yourself in his position. I will love to use this company again for other trips.
