  • The Oaks Theater is one of my favorite venues in Pittsburgh. Since their remodel a couple of years ago, you can find much more than just movies - The Oaks has music, comedy, trivia, and other events. My favorite thing at The Oaks is Cinebrunch, where you can get breakfast and cocktails, while watching a classic movie: Breakfast At Tiffany's, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, etc. They also do a yearly Lebowski showing. The Oaks serves regular movie fare - popcorn, candy, and soda - but also have a full bar and a limited food menu. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. The theater is intimate and comfortable; and, if you're going with a group, you can reserve tables as well. The Oaks Theater is one of the reasons I love Oakmont - and I hope to see it stay open for a lifetime of fun!
