Being a true New Mexican I couldn't help but do a u turn and check this place out. When you walk up there is a nice patio to your left with water falls and fire places. The bar area is very cozy and looks like a place I would come to just hang out for a drink or two. The hostess was so friendly and we talked a bit about me being a native New Mexican. She made some suggestions on the menu and asked what I like to eat in New Mexico. When I told her she brought me out a sample of the carne adovado and TRUE Hatch Green chile. My waiter was Kenny S and he was so funny. We hit it off right away. I ordered the Carne and to drink a Mexican Punch. The meal came and it was really good. I'm used to refried beans not black beans but they were good. The rice was dry and tasteless but he carne was so tender, I'm used to having it smothered with red chile so I ordered sour cream to off set the heat, not needed it wasn't covered in chile, this was a different change. The meat was seasoned perfectly and was so tender. A definite A+ there. I had a Mexian Punch and all I can say is I plan on making thise at home. AMAZING!!!! All in all I would say they do New Mexican pretty well here. I plan on coming back again no doubt.
