| - This is my favorite hotel in Vegas. It's gorgeous, clean, modern, and very sexy. I've stayed in two different rooms, including one of their two-story Lanai suites, and both were fabulous. Housekeeping was excellent and available to be ordered to your room at your convenience, which was a really nice touch. The spa is one of the best in town: wet and dry sauna, cool relaxing pool, excellent services. But the restaurants are the real winner here.
First, the Chandelier bar is my favorite place (maybe ever?) to have a drink. Located on the second and third floor, it is literally a giant chandelier dripping with crystals that you SIT INSIDE OF and have craft cocktails. Let me say that again. You sit inside a chandelier and drink champagne. Who am I, Marie Antoinette? It is absolutely delightful!
Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is an a la carte restaurant and lounge with live entertainment and a speakeasy feel.
Beauty and Essex, the Vegas outpost of the New York City original, is absolutely on point. I have eaten here both as a couple and as a large party with a prix fixe meal, and both were delicious.
Momofuku is David Chang's excellent Asian fusion restaurant (get the cold spicy noodles and a bun).
Jaleo is Jose Andres' Iberian tapas restaurant and literally my favorite dining experience in Vegas. Go with friends and get one of their sparkling wine porrĂ³nes, wine served in a glass pitcher with a long nozzle. The game is to drink a steady stream of wine out of the pitcher while moving it away from your mouth and back. Good, messy, fun!
I still cannot believe that all of these restaurants are housed in the same glorious urban tower that is the Cosmopolitan, but I guess that's the kind of luck you only get in Vegas.
