  • BAGELS! Now that I have your attention, sit up and listen. Fresh Start is a quaint little coffee shop that does everything amazingly well. The Bagels are fresh, and may just be the best in Toronto. The sandwiches are well crafted, the coffee is fresh, and the pastries are always inviting. The pick of the litter, from what I've tried, are the cream cheese and smoked salmon bagels, and the pecan squares. Honestly, I just can't stress how amazing the bagels are. They're not too dense, slightly sweet, and just about melt in your mouth. The ambiance is nice too. The large amount of window space is inviting and there's even some comfy sofa chairs if you're lucky enough to grab one. If you're ever in the area, don't pass this place up. It makes for the perfect low key lunch.
