| - I've been a member for several years back in California, so it made sense to stick with a brand I trusted. The facility is great. The maintenance and cleanliness needs improvement. After having worked out at this club for six months, I have been frustrated by the staff's casual attitude toward providing a clean environment. A couple of times, I have gone by the front desk to inform them that the locker room or bathroom needs attention. The staff informed me that their "Team Clean" was coming up in 30 minutes so it would be taken care of. This was disappointing, as one of those times was to inform them that two of the toilets were clogged and the remaining one did not have toilet paper. More often than not, trash is overflowing in the men's locker room. Towels are left on the shower floors by my fellow patrons. The towel bins are also overflowing. Often, the paper towel dispensers in the workout area are empty, making it impossible to clean the equipment after I work out. At least half of the treadmills have inoperative buttons. Today was a particular gem when I had to switch showers three times. The first was because there was trash, including a disposable razor on the floor. The second was because the hot water doesn't work in that stall. Honestly, that one is on me because the hot water hasn't worked in that stall for at least the six months that I've worked out there. Finally I settled for a third stall. You can tell it has hot water before you even turn it on because there is no soap due to everyone using it. The drain is also slow, so much to the point that the water spills over into the next stall.
This facility is nice, however I'm concerned that without more attention to cleanliness standards and maintenance it will decline.
