Camped here at the end of April during the middle of the week and besides the camp site hosts, we were the only ones there. Granted it dropped to nearly below freezing at night, it was still nice to be able to pick any site we wanted. The bathrooms are heated, which is great during the cold months. They don't have the rest of the campground open during this time of year so it's only the first 14 sites available. Firewood and firestarter fuel are available for purchase if you don't want to lug these from town. The wood that we got was damp and was difficult to start so the hosts offered us another bundle for free. In the morning, the hosts were hard at work cleaning up the sites, the firepits and grills. Highly recommend, especially during the less busy months.
The only complaint that I have is there is a lot of sound from the main road if you camp near the front.
