  • My husband and I went it to browse at their sectionals a week ago , we had bought our bedroom set the year before and loved the quality of the pieces. We greeted right away, and our salesperson Byron was super helpful and knowledgeable of their sales. We came in during their "Black Friday event" to see if we could get a leather sectional in a certain price point. Byron was excited to tell us about their tempurpedic mattresses event even though we were not in the market for one . He was very understanding that we just wanted a sectional, but he stressed that if we did their mattress demo it would be worth our wild. And low and behold it was. My husband and I are not naive and we know that going into a furniture store is like going to a car dealership, but this experience was different they really wanted to make sure that we were taken care of. Prior to the mattress demo we were looking at a discount of 26% off the sectional. If we decided to do the mattress they dropped the cost of the sectional to equal roughly 80% off the retail cost. We did love the mattress and decided to take the plunge. We ended up getting a killer dealer that pretty much ended up like a buy one get one. And their sales manager Julian even knocked off the cost of shipping . We were super excited ! But when the furniture was delivered it was missing a piece ( which they had called to tell us about a few day prior ) so I was already expecting two deliveries. When our first delivery came one of the men was so careless that he broke/damaged some of our property. I was so upset that I wanted to cancel the other item. My husband and I decided to go in and cancel in person. We were greeted by Byron again and he recognized us right away . I explained that I wanted to cancel and he took us up to costumer service and stayed with us until we were all set. I explained that I wanted to cancel the final piece and they told me that there would be no money back since it was a package and urged me not to cancel ( since in reality it didn't make sense too ) But still fuming from my delivery experience I vented and explained everything that had happened (which I had no plans too) Their costumer service manager Kristina gave me corporates # to complain ( which I didn't want too , since typically that goes no were) . But she took care of the order and actually changed it for something that would be better for us at no extra. Later that evening we received a call from Kristina were she informed us that she had called corporate on our behalf and that they needed some photos to show the damages .The very next day a representative called and reimbursed us for all our damaged property all on the same day. And of course Kristina called to confirm that our order would be delivered within the week and to make sure that we were all taken care of. This staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are pleased and really gave us the VIP treatment. My husband and I have been very pleased with our service and end products from Ashley's and we plan to continue to shop there.
