| - We had dinner here on Saturday. Started with the Clams Corona, which was simply terrific, especially the sauce. The bread that came with it was exceptional for the kind of garlic bread on half baguette often served at restaurants. Right away -- not too much salt, which is usually a main complaint of Mexican Cuisine, and spices used to great advantage, which often is not the case. Ordered a half serving of guacamole to complement the salsas that came with chips. It was very fresh tasting, just chunky enough with just the right amount of cilantro. Entrees, the Pasta del Mar and the Thoroughly Modern Burrito, very good. I cannot recall the name of the desert and the online menu does not list deserts. It was banana, sopapilla, very light whipped cream (real whipped cream), caramel sauce and light powdered sugar -- simply delicious. Good coffee. Great service. Reasonable prices. Only complaint was the gin and tonic, not bad, not good. But then it's not a drink for Mexican Cuisine!
