I joined a group of 7 for a Mother's day brunch celebration yesterday. We arrived at the appointed time, 1:15 reservation. It was a fixed price menu, $47.00 for three courses.
I was really looking forward to a nice meal. They start with biscuits that come with butter and honey. The biscuits were stale.
Everyone enjoyed the first course, salad, soup or burrata, all tasty and fresh. They offered several versions of eggs Benedict so I tried the one with crab cakes. Underwhelmed...the poached eggs were virtually raw, more like coddled. By the time someone came to ask we were halfway through our meal. I asked for some scrambled eggs with veggies instead and the waitress was happy to oblige. They discounted my meal to 16.95. Others in my party enjoyed their food, the sides were great. Desserts were ok. Overall, it was just ok.
