  • Listen up: The Nookie is a sex shop. There is nothing to be afraid of. It's 100% safe and 110% fun. After hearing so much great stuff from friends, I decided to make the trek to the shop after a day at my coworking space. The first thing, as I walked up to the shop, was the cute little Pride window they had. Of course, I was already sold before I walked in. The whole vibe of the store was calming and relaxed. The person in the store was the owner (whose name I'm totally blanking on) but they introduced themselves and made my whole experience wonderful and gave me all the space I needed as I poked and prodded around the vibrators in peace, poking my head out every once in awhile to ask questions. What I liked about this shop is that I never felt pressured into buying anything and I never felt uncomfortable about the stuff I was looking at. The whole space felt like a super high-end sex shop, something that you would see in Europe or something. While I didn't end up buying anything that day, I totally know where I'm going next time and where I'm going to recommend my pals in the future.
