| - My friend and I went here after dinner at Pizza Libretto and I will never go back not because of their product but because of their cashier. It was Taste of the Danforth and this place like every other place that weekend was packed, which was expected. There was a long line up, so we got in line to order. Once we got to the front of the line, an employee called us over to take our order. Then she told us we had to pay first. Annoyed, as we figured we would have to pay first! We went to the cashier to pay and then the cashier told us we had to go to the end of the line because she thought we just skipped it! We told her we had been waiting in line but had been signalled over to the gelato server instead. Then the cashier told us again the line started at the back. She thought we had just walked up to cash to order when if she had been doing her job properly, she would have cashed us through when we got to the front of the line.
My friend and I were no way going to line up again so we assertively told her we had been in line! She gave us major cut eye then took our order. My friend ordered an affogato (coffee based drink that usually has a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso) and I just wanted tea. I'm not exactly sure if the server even knew what that was because he gave my friend a bowl with gelato/ice cream topped with a small cone that had whip cream. Maybe he thought she said she wanted espresso gelato, who knows. She told him that wasn't what she ordered and re-ordered the affogato. He re-made her order, but it was basically the same thing mentioned above again. While he was making her order, the cashier was huddling with two other employees, clearly talking smack about how she thought we cut the line. How she ever found time to call an employee huddle when there was a line up of 20 people waiting to order, I will never know. RUDEST cashier ever. We were so peeved with the whole experience, my friend accepted her wrong order and we left. This place needs a new cashier pronto.
