  • Do you need a bucket? Of course you do! Dollarama also thinks you do as they currently have half an aisle stocked with them all in the same size. Sonic Boom had barely locked the doors on their old location before the signs went up saying Dollarama was moving in. While the Annex didn't really need another dollar-type store (Honest Ed's and Payless for Everything just yards away) it's kind of nice to have a chain dollar store in the 'hood. Their products seem to be slightly (and I do mean SLIGHTLY) more reputable than many of the stores in the area. It would seem that the store is settling into it's new home and waiting to see what it's consumers are going to want as they haven't fully stocked the store. There are a few aisles with shelves lined with the same product (like buckets) and some slat-walls hanging bare. Considering all the grumbling in the neighbourhood about another chain moving in, the store was pretty busy on a Sunday morning.
