I dropped my Dell laptop off on 7/31. I explained to Todd that the processor was running at 100% and I suspected it was malware based on internet postings. I had already run an anti-malware program and found nothing. Todd charged me $75 to check for malware, nothing was found and nothing had changed when I got it back except the antivirus software was deleted as he thought that was causing the problem. I went back to retrieve a CD he forgot to give me about a week later and asked him if he would be willing to refund me a portion of the $75 as I felt I paid for a service but the problem was not solved. He adamantly refused. He said he worked on it for over 5 hours which I have my doubts about. It may be a communication issue but Office Max got it to work at 100% for $79. He insists that he is right but I felt that I paid too much and he refused to compensate me at all. Today he said he would have done what Office Max did at no additional charge but it's easy to say that when the work was already done.
