| - My wife and I (we are a lesbian couple) had always dreamed of creating a family of our own one day. And after being together for 8 years and married for one, we were more than ready to get things started. After several unsuccessful attempts with home insemination, we turned to The Fertility Center of Las Vegas for help.
From the onset of our introduction at our first consultation, we knew that we could put our faith into Dr. D in hopes of finally having a baby to call our very own. He is incredibly intelligent--a pioneer in his field to say the least (the clinic's success rates speaks volumes of this!). He has a bedside manner like no other physician we have met, which is immeasurable in value considering how delicate the whole process can be. He was very warm and caring, while being honest and candid with all facets of our situation. My wife and I both came across some hurdles along the way, but we made it through with Dr. D's guidance and expertise. It is such an emotional process, and we could not have done it without Dr. D and his staff's support.
Our first trial with IVF, as Dr. D predicted, was a successful one--we were blessed with a healthy baby boy! Everyone there treated us with such care and love--I never felt like a number there. The receptionists, the office coordinators, the blood draw girls (loved Dove, such a sweetheart), the sonographers and nurses all made us feel so comfortable and hopeful. It is like having your very own fans who are rooting for you the whole way. Their love and support made it hard for us to go back to our regular OB after they released us into his care for the remainder of the pregnancy. It truly is a remarkable operation in its entirety.
On a side note, I have seen other reviews mention that they were forced to do unnecessary diagnostic testing, that it was too expensive to go through The Fertility Center of Las Vegas for these reasons. You have to understand that Dr. D and Dr. Shapiro are not only physicians, but they are also scientific pioneers in their field. They are extremely thorough. Everyone's case is different, and each test and treatment is designed according to each person's needs. Gathering information from such tests is vital in maintaining their success rates, which means a greater number of patients will get the chance to be blessed with the birth of their very own baby! People from all over the globe come to them--they are in that high of a demand. Their dedication and ever increasing knowledge in the fertility field has yielded the highest success rate in all the world!
Do your research and come for a consultation. You will see why we fell in love with this Dr. D and his clinic, and why we will be trying for baby number two with them this summer. There will never be a way to measure the amount of gratitude and love we have for Dr. D and his entire staff. Our life will never be the same, and it is all because we went to The Fertility Center of Las Vegas.
