  • You may remember how much a dump Madhatters was. Don't let that dissuade you from checking out Danny's. They did a full remodel of the place and expanded into the space next door. This has become my go-to bar after a long day. They have great drink specials during the week like $6 jumbos (true jumbos), $2 single call drinks, $3 Jameson and Jack. They seem to attract a better clientele than Wando's and the like. They just started serving food too. I had the burger with an egg on it - they did a pretty decent job with it! I have not been there on the weekends, but I have seen the huge line curving around onto Broom Street. I think they have a dance floor going on the second floor on the weekends, but I can't really speak to that. What I can say, if you're looking for an upgrade from the usual college bars in the area, look no further than Danny's.
