  • We have been to AVS for a variety of animal related issues. Both having some special needs kitties personally and being involved in animal rescue, we have seen a variety of challenges from: two kitties with Lymphoma, two with chronic rhinitis, feeding tube, broken back, autoimmune issues, hyperthyroidism and more. The majority of our time, things have been great. They are easy to schedule with and the doctors are always thorough. We have worked with Drs. Reinsche and Bailey in internal medicine as well as Dr. LaPorte in Dermatology and Dr. Beaver in Oncology. There's a few more doctors whose names escape me. No office is perfect and occasionally the hold time on the phone is a bit longer than I like but if that is the biggest issue, no worries. I have never felt rushes or ignored. Often times, the doctors have called after the clinic has closed to address concerns or to check in. I would prefer not to need to visit this place so often (because it means something is clearly wrong with the animal) but I am glad they are around. They try to accommodate urgent / emergency matters. I am thankful for them and what they do.
