I lived here for about 4 months...the apartment itself was great. Decent sized rooms and big closets! However those things do not outweigh the horrible things associated with this complex.
My apartment was broken into 5 days before I left for deployment... At about 11 pm my roommate and I came home to discover the door had been kicked in and all my stuff had been rummaged through. Called the police and maintenance. At 2 am maintenance finally showed up to "fix" our door. He simply pieced the broken pieces of wood back together and glued them in the door frame and called it a night. He let us know he'd paint over it the next day....oh great thanks. We felt really safe.
Needless to say my roommate who was supposed to take care of my dog while I was deployed did not feel safe staying there...I didn't blame her. Five days before my deployment we had to pack all of our things and put them in storage. It was a nightmare but to make matters worse the manager was a complete douche. I went to his office the day after the break in to tell him I was deploying and my roommate did not feel safe to stay there so I needed out of the lease. Luckily I had my orders but because I didn't give 30 days notice he had no problem charging me a full months rent and the remaining days. Talk about helping our military folks out. He was so rude about it. I am so glad it all worked out and we are out of there. I had another friend who lived there and her car was broken into and a bunch of stuff was stolen and a different friend who was home when some guy broke into her apartment!! Luckily he ran off when he saw her.
I know that was a novel but I wanted to share my experience. DO NOT LIVE HERE! It's not safe. I have heard about several more break in stories and even about a bomb going off in a car in the parking lot.
