  • I visited this restaurant in hopes of getting some good authentic Afghan food. My boyfriend is from Afghanistan and I've tasted authentic food before. To call this Afghan food would be a complete insult. This food was completely bland and tasteless. Afghan food is known for its deep complex flavors and this restaurant did not deliver. I was very disappointed when I received my chicken Kabobs and noticed that the color was all wrong. Proper Afghan chicken kabob should be marinated over night in yogurt and spices. This should leave a strong color stain on the meat. Instead of receiving chicken that was nicely colored my chicken had a pale orange tint and barely any flavor. If you're looking for real Afghan or flavorful food, this is not the place to go. Very disappointing.
