My four dogs have been patients with Dr. Buzard for the last three years. She is incredibly thorough and takes her time during exams. Even though I have to drive over an hour each way to get to this location, I will continue to take them to her.
On my last visit, I brought one of my dogs in to be spayed. On the pre-op bloodwork, Dr. Buzard saw some things that were a concern. She immediately called me and we made the decision to proceed with the spay. She recommended another blood test that showed my girl had Valley Fever. Had we not done the first set of bloodwork, I never would have guessed this dog had Valley Fever. Additionally, my girl's spay incision healed beautifully with no complications. I had no problems with the staff and our aftercare paperwork explained everything just fine.
I should also add that Dr. Buzard practices low-stress animal handling techniques. She is one of the few vets that I have worked with who truly understand how to minimize the stress dogs feel.
