| - This place was surprisingly beautifully decorated when we arrived around 10 pm for dinner. It had a very clean, modern, romantic vibe to it and was elegantly lit.
However, that might be why I was expecting more quality food. If it had been a typical dine-in looking environment, similar to many other Asian establishments located beside a grocery store that you would go and order a quick takeout dish from, I might have been ok with the lack of taste this food had.
My girlfriend had Pad Thai and couldn't take more than a few bites. I ate my entire plate of Yokisoba w/ chicken, so it wasn't horrible, but it was kind of plain and tasteless and just would rather eat at a typical buffet next time. It was all just bland. The sushi was good though.
It isn't all bad though. Aside from the atmosphere, the pricing was decent enough for the quality. The quantity of food far exceeds what you pay for and you'll be full and somewhat satisfied if you can tolerate the taste enough to eat it all. The staff was friendly. The variety of food selection was probably the best thing about the place overall, and because of that, I would be willing to eat there again, in hopes of selecting a better dish.
Also, they don't open until 4 on Saturdays. This sucks for me.
[Update: May 2015: I have been back again twice now to order the Philadelphia Sushi Roll, once taking it home. I don't know if they changed or not (or maybe it's my mood), but I will order sushi from here regularly and am updating the rating from two to three stars. Because of this, I might try their dishes again sometime soon just in case they've improved as well.]
