I just got back home from a three night stay at the Golden Gate Casino. Everything was great. The front desk clerk Jenny who checked us in was really amiable and provided us a quick no hassle check in. She even remembered our room numbers two days later. We were booked into the newly remodeled suites which are fantastic. They are studios with a large sectional sofa and either a queen or king size bed. No tubs but great showers. The hotel provided k-cups for the in room coffee maker. The strip hotels charge like 8$ from the mini bar for them but here they were included. I loved that. We also ate at Dupars a few times and although they do get busy the food was really good.
My friend and I love the casino and its players club. At night its really high energy with really loud music. No doubt to compete with all the blaring music outside. I tended to gamble mostly during the day as the loud music got to me after a while. Next time I'll bring ear plugs. Its really a fun hotel and casino. It's small which I think is great. You can go from to casino to room or back in just a couple of minutes. It takes a half an hour at ceasars.
All in all it was a great experience. We especially liked Jenny at the front desk and Chris W. was our host and did a fantastic job.
We can't wait to go back.
