| - My wife and I went to brunch this past Sunday, and it was fantastic. We started off at the bar, since we were a little early for our reservation, and had a cocktail (don't judge me!). I had a very manly pink drink, which for the life of me I can't remember now, but was very good and I was assured by the staff that the color was not reflective of the actual manliness of the drink, which I happily accepted. My wife started with a hot buttered rum. They make their own butter, which was a nice touch, and added to the drink which was delicious.
For brunch we started with the espresso soaked dates, with ricotta, over brioche. It was light, creamy, and awesome. I had the fried egg, over bacon and biscuit with gravy. I will say that I was a little disappointed on the size, I was hoping for a little bit more. It was one egg, and the biscuit wasn't very big. It was delicious but I wasn't quite full after. My wife had the shrimp and grits, it was not as small a portion and was fantastic as well.
Service was great, decor was great. Besides from a smaller entree than I would've liked it was pretty perfect.
