While I love the appearance and location of the salon, there have been a lot of inconsistencies here. There seem to be frequent changes in nail stylists. There are some temperamental personalities involved, and the stylists I found that are really good are no longer there - so I am on my 4th stylist.
Tracey is the best so far. She is pleasant and really easy to make requests. She does great work.
However, I recently had my first pedicure here and at the end of it, I had to point out the cuticles were still dirty and the polish was streaky - applied so thickly that it literally had run to one side.
"Tom" (who I had not requested) was obviously pissed. It was clear that I didn't want him to redo the pedicure - just the 2 big toes. He was huffy and speaking Vietnamese - and proceeded to remove all the polish on all toes. He was clearly angry and resentful. At that point, I didn't want him touching me at all and even understood a bit of what he said when angry. I remained quiet and let him finish.
Poor Tracey -who was working on my nails was mortified. I was thinking my experience at this salon before I went on vacation was ANYTHING but relaxing. I will stick with Tracey and perhaps the salon has new management that will meet with the staff and set some boundaries re: customer service and attitudes (including with each other).
