Terrible service-
Last month our 2014 Jeep Cherokee arrived at Larry Miller Avondale via a tow truck because although it broke down near Earnhardt on Val Vista our warranty specified the work had to be performed at Larry Miller.
Earnhardt had almost immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad fuel pump. There is a well known fuel pump issue with this particular model. Despite being towed in, the service rep, Mike, could not find our car for several hours. Finally found it and said the tow truck driver dropped it off without paperwork.
A weekend and 3 more days pass with no information. We found out later that Mike was out of the shop for a couple of days. We thought he was just not returning the calls. Nobody else called us back either. When he finally did call he said the car would not break down and we could come out and pick it up. (That's 47 miles of freeway for us-one way.) My husband reminded him that Earnhardt had said it wad a bad fuel pump. My daughter called Mike as she had a Jeep with the same problem and tried to explain it. Then Mike said he understood and would have the car looked at again.
Two days later - big surprise- Larry Miller replaced the fuel pump.
They had our car for 11 days for something that Earnhardt had diagnosed in a couple of hours.
It would have been cheaper for us to just pay Earnhardt for the new fuel pump ( in a 4 year old car) than to deal with Larry Miller Avondale.
We had pay for a rental car for 12 days while they lost our car, then it just sat there and finally they could not connect the dots without multiple phone calls from us pointing them to the already diagnosed fuel pump.
We bought this car from Larry Miller in Albuquerque. It went in regularly there for all the check ups and we received professional service for 3 years.
Not so in Avondale. The car warranty rep suggested we talk to the Service Manager in Avondale and gave us the name - Jacob Meacham. Again - had to leave a detailed voice mail and no callback. Our daughter who bought her Grand Cherokee at this dealership reached out to the General Manager, Erik Ortega, who did not respond to her.
We hope to never have to deal with Larry Miller in Avondale again. We did not find one person who cared about our problem with our Larry Miller car.
