  • The perfect place to go to on a Friday night after the Chandler Jazz Fest - well 7 picky boys from NY say absolutely! Actually 3 for 3 at this wonderful establishment. Ate in the dining room twice prior and it was just spectacular. We went to the bar last night and were waited on by the awesome Shelly. Great wine by the glass, superb Calamari with that special sauce and then the Penne Siciliana with the eggplant and just the right amount of garlic was Bene indeed. Made me want to do my Robert de Niro " Godfather II" impression " Bene, Bene." We also got the Margherita pizza which was great - loved the basil. Awesome band with an amazing singer. She was very versatile and went from modern pop to good ol' Bob Marley. Dance floor was jamming. Shelly and the staff were on their game and took very good care of us. Really cool to experience this side of Va Bene after enjoying Sinatra and the other Goldies in the main restaurant with the dim lighting, great atmosphere and very, very good food. Loved it! Perfetto, Delizioso, Sorprendente.
