I live a mile away from Akahana, so needless to say I have been here more times than I can count. The experience used to be very inconsistent, but lately it's gone downhill. I used to get sushi from here at least once a week on the off-chance I would have a good experience, but the past few months they haven't been able to get my order right once. I only order one roll and add spicy mayo to the order, but recently they use ingredients different than stated on the menu. It's so frustrating that it's not even worth the buy one, get one half off deal anymore.
I used to rave about Akahana, but not anymore. The spicy edamame is the only reason I gave them two stars. It is worth a try, but their sushi is not.
