  • We arrived on a Monday night around 9:30. We had already bought out tickets online but still had to wait in line because what was given to us online was only a voucher. Lines were long but moved fairly quick. Once we got up top we didn't have to wait long. We purchased the half hour happy hour. This means you have an open bar with a bartender on your 30 minute trip around. Once inside the pod I knew the open bar wasn't going to be worth it. The view was amazing and the ride was very smooth. I get motion sickness VERY easily and I did just fine. Transition on and off the pod was easy. There were quite a few people put in our pod which made moving around difficult. And of course they are no where near as spacious and the pictures on the high roller site show. The bartender was nice. Very messy with making the drinks though. Everyone's hands were sticky by the end. We were able to get TWO drinks during the trip and even that was difficult. You were allowed to walk off with one drink but they also stop bar service about 5 minutes before you get off. Would have been nice to be able to take a beer to go. Save your money and just take a regular no frills trip around.
