So I got sucked in by all the passing taxis displaying a Vegas.com billboard.
Quick and easy to purchase Las Vegas shows. Then I started a comparison to the cost at the box office of the casino offering the show.
Vegas.com charges you a "convince" fee. In addition you cannot choose your seats, just supposedly a general area. To top it all off you have to find the show's box office and pick your tickets up there.
I purchased 4 shows, in a row; at different casinos; through Vegas.com. I then picked each one up just hours before the show. Each time I noticed my tickets cost more and provided less desirable seats than if purchased at the box office instead of just picking them up there.
Spare yourself. Go to the casino's website and buy the tickets there. Or, call the casino and transfer to the box office. Or show up in person and buy them yourself.
Had I followed the advice I now give you, my savings would have exceeded $300. Enough for a dinner and a show.
Vegas.com is a reseller, they charge you more and seat you poorly, then add on an exorbitant convenience fee.
