I got a purple cauliflower here once & made an amazing soup with the help of a great friend. That damn purple cauliflower, it's now my unicorn cause I've never seen it again. I'll be going back this week to see if it's there again though. I am a sucker...or optimist.
I love this farmer's market. I can bike there in about 5 minutes from my house, so I can feel vastly superior for "going green". I am obviously saving the planet single-handedly with my 5 minute bike trips.
I have found all manor of great stuff here. I bought some glasses made from the bottom of wine bottles, so more saving of the Earth. They have great produce, real butter, and even eggs from non-chicken birds like turkey eggs, I believe. I pretty much stick to the chicken eggs, but if you are some sort of egg weirdo, they have your stuff.
Lot's of great vendors, you can get hot breakfast & coffee while you shop. On Halloween they had people dressed like zombies, & they performed to Thriller. A couple even hissed at us as they were dancing. So this is pretty much full of awesome & you should check out the OTFM if you haven't already. They are @OTFM on twitter.
