  • I love our apartment! :) I moved from out of state and needless to say, I was EXTREMELY nervous. I didn't get to see the place at all before moving and that alone was very stressful. It's my boyfriend and my first apartment together, but this place is wonderful! Rent is pretty cheap (especially compared to California!!!), and although the Charleston/Decatur area doesn't seem very nice, we've never had a complaint as far as feeling unsafe. They have courtesy patrol out most nights. Angela, the community manager, is AMAZING! She helped me every step of the way for the very nerve wracking out of state move. I would recommend this place to anyone (and I actually have! My friend just moved in next door to us. Hello $200 referral bonus!). The rest of the office staff is always very friendly and attentive as well. I read a lot of horror stories about other people's experiences at other complexes and it makes me VERY relieved to know I've landed in such a great spot!! Utilities for my 1 bedroom only run me about $35 a month. Electricity is $60 in the winter and maybe $120 in the summer. This place is cheap, affordable, and great! And the maintenance staff is awesome too. With how high other places charge for pets too, the deposit and rent isn't too bad! Lastly, in my building parking is great! I never have an issue finding a spot. And paying rent online is extremely convenient and easy! I highly recommend Alpine Village to anyone!
