  • Pam helped me with the purchase of a new setting for my 35 year old wedding ring. The original ring was yellow gold and I wanted to switch to white gold or platinum. I chose white gold for the new ring and it was delivered as planned and is beautiful. However, in a short time I started to get a rash at the ring site. To make a long story short, over the course of 18 months, I visited my dermatologist and was referred for allergy tests. All came back negative for metal allergies. The doctor prescribed medicine and suggested it may be moisture causing contact dermatitis. They suggested I consider not wearing the ring when washing hands or in water and possibly a new setting with a thinner band in platinum. I went to visit Pam to consider a new band. Pam and her husband spent quite a bit of time with me reviewing many different options. Before they would consider selling a new band, they sent me home with a brand new platinum ring to try for two weeks to test for a reaction. Additionally, they cleaned my current ring and said to take it off every night and let it soak in a cleaning solution, rinse well, dry and wear as normal. They suspected lotions or soap may be the culprit. That is exactly what caused the problem. Once I started cleaning the ring every night, my skin cleared up and rash went away. I can not thank them enough for taking the time to find a solution. A new setting would have cost thousands of dollars due to the need for a new "finger mate" to replace the existing one. I use a finger mate due to arthritis. They truly care about their customers as evidenced by my experience!
