  • I recently discovered a stray dog near my work and before I knew it I was a dog owner. Not knowing the history of this animal I wanted to have the health of the animal evaluated. They have a wide array of appointment times on the weekend (perfect for someone like me who works Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to sometimes as late as 6:30 PM) that can accommodate just about every schedule. The wellness plan that they offer is not only a money saver, but a great incentive to have the routine preventative health care performed for their pet. A yearly professional teeth just like the ones we get for ourselves or our kids. Twice a year comprehensive physical exams, de-worming and fecal exams are included in the "optimum wellness plan" for dogs. With the plan we have, there is no charge for office visits and we get 15% off any service not covered under the plan. I decided to enroll our dog in the optimum wellness plan (it is less than $40 a month) and she has been seen at this particular clinic three times now. She has had a full exam and all of the vaccines needed for a dog (including rabies), the booster of the shots (which involved another office visit), teeth cleaning and micro-chipping. The last visit we saved over $480 because of the wellness plan coverage. The vets and the technicians at this location are fantastic. If your pet has any special needs (our dog is "people shy" and cowers easily) they will note it on your account so that your pet is treated with the best possible care. They call you the day before to remind you of your appointment time, they follow up the day after your appointment to find out how your pet is doing.
