| - This is one of the first things you will notice when walking into the Cosmopolitan and rightly so. The glittering crystals are stunning to behold, almost so much that you don't notice at first that the chandelier literally envelopes not one, but three bars stacked vertically. We determined that we had to experience drinking inside a chandelier at least once, and opted for the middle 1.5 level. As you'd expect for a fancy-pants bar in a fancy-pants Strip hotel, this is not cheap, but the cocktails are expertly crafted and oh-so-delicious. Mom had a spiced pear drink that she still sighs over, 8 months later, and memories of the blood orange liqueur in mine still dance across my tongue. We each had one other drink which were good, but not as memorable as those two. Rumor has it that each level has its own menu, so eventually I'd like to try them all, but being off of the casino floor and not near the upper level entrance, the middle level is quite peaceful and enjoyable. The server was incredibly sweet and friendly, and checked up on us just enough. It's worth saving a bit out of your gambling budget to come here and have a drink at least once, just for the experience.
