| - ***Please Read. Find A New Service Location*** I do NOT recommend this Mini location to get your vehicle serviced. I have reservations on the sales side as well. You need to know that these service guys are NOT here for you. They are here for their wallets. The more they get you to spend, the more they bonus/commission. They have to overcharge you so they make a commission. This location is completely inept. I had a 2011 Mini S. Our car was babied, garaged, serviced timely, and how is it the sparks plugs and coils went out 7,000 before they are supposed to be changed according to Mini Corp? I also bought a maintenance plan upon purchase and I was told, "All maintenance covered, except anything tire related." Well, guess what, plugs and coils not covered. How can this be as they are maintenance parts? Not according to Mini. How is it possible that a $59,000 non-daily driver, not driven aggressively needs new plugs and coils? Mini actually says to replace them at 66,000 miles. So, I'm 7,000 miles under that and it's serviced accordingly. The truth is, they are a sham...and the customer is the joke.
I did go through and file a case with Mini Corp. In the end, I paid half the cost, however I originally paid the full warranty so Mini Corp did nothing for me. The bottom line is, don't buy a mini if you aren't content with taking your money and throwing it into a garbage can. These service guys know we pay top dollar for these vehicles so they exploit us, saying "They can afford it." I am ashamed I've purchased this vehicle. I turned around 2 days after this fiasco and immediately sold it.
While I do realize that customers that are wronged will take to social media and vent, however my aim here is to alert the customer. I'm telling you, this is not the location you want to go to. There are mini approved mechanics out there in the valley. I highly suggest you take your vehicle there versus this location. You'll save a ton of time and money. Lastly, I have really worked with this service center, went to the GM of service and spoke about coaching his people. I tried to motivate my service guy, but the reality is, something is fractured internally in this service center. This isn't my job to fix, however it has affected my life because these people can't get it together. In the end, it does fall on the GM.
