  • Read about the salted caramel brownies on Yelp and went on a field trip today at work. I've only been in Charlotte a month, so I haven't been to the original location. That said, this place was cute. The decor is adorable. The service left a bit to be desired, the guy at the counter really didn't want to be there. Then again, I did go on Friday the 13th so maybe he was just scared bad things were going to happen to him. Can I just talk about this brownie for a second? It's really less of a brownie and more of a brownie-fudge-magic hybrid topped with salted caramel. I'm glad the bakery is a little ways from my building so I can justify eating it because of the walk it takes to get there. Based on what I got, and the feel of the place, I'm a fan and will be back for sure. I'll probably be making the trip to NODA soon to check out the original.
