I brought my 2014 F150 in for an oil change and to have satellite radio looked at, as I constantly get no signal messages and the radio is not working. After several hours I received a call back from the service department telling me that the oil change was completed and that I could pick up my truck. I asked about the satellite radio, and after looking through the paperwork, the advisor realized nothing had been done. I was then told that they would send it over to have that looked at. A couple of hours later I received another call telling me the work was complete and I could pick up my truck.
When I arrived and received the paperwork there was no mention of the Satellite radio issue. After inquiring about the status of the radio, I received a response that the radio was not fixed and they could not do anything about it. I spoke with a service manager and received the same response, but he assured me that engineers were working on it. After escalating to Ford customer care I received the same response from them.
Bottom line, be careful if you decide to purchase a Ford. Apparently they are comfortable telling their customers that they cannot fix their product and they are OK with you having options on your vehicle that just don't work.
My wife and I both own Fords, but after this experience I don't think I'll purchase another one. And I will absolutely not use Ford Country again.
