rev:text	Long story short: absolutely worth it. Just do it, nerd! Long story long: Dance to me is like... well, imagine stopping at saloon in the middle of a 2 month horse ride for the coast. You shoot some whiskey that smells like death and head to bed so you can ride out in the morning. But then imagine, getting stopped on the way up by a lady of the night, Anabelle. She's so beautiful that she seems out of place in the dingy saloon. She promises the best night's rest of your life and you can't resist that pitch. Later, you spend the whole night just talking. Turns out, Anabelle has a razor sharp sense of humor and you want all the same things in life. You get each other excited about what y'all can do, and when the sun rises. You know that you would be kicking yourself for the rest of your life if you rode out of her life just like that. All that kicking would be bad for your bum knee anyway so you decide then and there that you're staying. You can't promise Anabelle the world, but you do promise to dedicate yourself to giving her everything you can. I'll spare you the romantic details, but you somehow convince Anabelle to be your wife and you buy a small plot of land 20 miles north of the saloon you met. You and Anabelle raise 4 beautiful and healthy children. Yeah they might pick their noses and touch you with their filthy hands, but they do their chores around the ranch and say their prayers. You realize then, that your life is balanced and you are at peace. You look back and think about how you almost rode out that saloon and lived a different life. In that moment you get a sense of satisfaction from having made the right choice. Kids, Anabelle is dance. She's a woman that you never expected to be in your life but damnit, now that she's here you have to give her as much as you can. So really, it boils down to 2 different types of people: those who rode off in the morning and think about her from time to time... and those who decided to change course, and took the chance to find peace. The end... or is it the beginning?? P.S. Sophia is a fantastic teacher. I have a crippling desire to do everything the right way and she's been patient while giving me as much technique as I can handle. She's also funny and a peach to be around.
