  • My husband and I go to La Bocca often -- I think that it is safe to say that it is our most favorite dinner-out location. I can't remember how exactly we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant, but it holds a special place in our hearts because it is where we went for dinner after we got engaged. We usually prefer to sit outside since the inside dining area tends to be rather noisy, but there are always heaters on so it is comfortable, even in the winter months. The bruschetta is, by far, our favorite part of the meal -- make sure that you try the mascarpone, fig, and prosciutto variety, as well as the roasted garlic, arugula, and balsamic choice. Both are absolutely to-die-for! For our entree, we always split a pizza (we choose the build-your-own option) and what we have on it usually varies. For dessert, if we're feeling like a splurge, we enjoy the warm chocolate chip cookie with melty, delicious vanilla ice cream on top. It is completely decadent and luxurious, the type of dessert that you seem to get lost in. (The cookie takes about 15 minutes to arrive to the table, but it is DEFINITELY worth the wait.) Although we have the same foods every time we go there, the food is THAT awesome that we don't feel like we are stuck in a rut -- we love going there because, with the foods we order, we always receive sheer perfection. La Bocca is a must!
