This was the second time I have eaten here on the annual boys trip.
As at all other Michael Mina places they start off with a sampler of fries with unique dipping sauces. This is a nice start, especially since most steakhouses don't give you an amuse.
This time I got the duck raviolo and the skirt steak. The raviolo was very good. The egg yolk adds the richness to it to make the difference. Could have used a bit more salt but it was still quite enjoyable. The steak was cooked perfectly. Skirt steaks have a nice amount of fat to them that there is no shortage of flavor.
Desserts here do not speak to me. We shared a large order of beignets. It came with 3 different dipping sauces. This just ok. They have the same dish at the other Mina restaurants I have been to.
Service was excellent. We had a large party but they did a good job making sure our glasses stayed full and the pacing on food was pretty good.
Solid steakhouse that is not friendly on the wallet, but then again nothing is at the Fairmont Princess hotel.
