| - I've had Peruvian food from all over the world. Vienna, Stockholm, NY, Miami, you name it and we've been there. I have to say this is probably the best Peruvian food I've had on the west coast. We came at noon, plenty of parking, came in and were seated right away.
Waiter took our drink orders immediately, and gave us some corn nuts with spicy sauce to munch on while me and Ellen F. perused the menu. They have an $8.95 lunch special between 11-3 which looked good but after seeing the Lomo Saltado picture and my previous experience with this dish I had to have it.
This was the perfect kind of mix. Lomo Saltado has beef steak strips, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions and rice. What I got had just the right amount of everything, no complaints whatsoever and it was satisfying. I killed the steak then mixed the leftover sauce with the rice. YUMMY!
There aren't to many Peruvian spots in town, this is the second joint I've tried. If your in the Hendo area I highly recommend you check it out. They do have Peruvian booze, I forgot to ask if they have Inca Kola if your into that. Will be coming back.
