rev:text	I've been hair salon shopping for some time now, as it's been awhile since I've had an experience that made me want to commit to one (in terms of overall experience, quality, price, and location). I'm happy to say that I think I found a keeper with Hairsmith. I had a great all around experience getting my hair cut by Brandy. First of all, she gave me exactly the cut I wanted. She asked follow-up questions to be sure she understood exactly what I was looking for, and I was super happy with the results. She has a laid back vibe; conversing with her was comfortable and interesting but never felt forced, which is something that I've found is surprisingly rare among stylists. The salon is small but feels spacious, and it has plenty of charm. There are a few other things that set this salon apart to me. One is that you can book your appointment online, and it's super easy. The system sends you a confirmation email and/or text and a reminder shortly before the appoint (only if you indicate you want it to). For people like me who prefer to book reservations and appointments online, this is a really nice feature! Another thing is that in addition to being a good hairsmith, Brandy is obviously a really nice and genuinely caring person. For example, she gives senior citizens a big discount on haircuts because she saw that it was a need in the neighborhood, and you can tell they love her for it. One of them stopped by to say hello during my haircut, and there's another lady who always offers to get her coffee from Constellation when she passes by. She also gave me some insightful advice on alleviating a frizzy phase that my hair always goes through when it air dries, and offered to try to get a product that is hard to find in stores so that she'd have it for me the next time I came in. Finally, I got the sense that she cares a lot about giving her customers a good experience. She asked me for feedback about the online booking system and some other things about the salon space. These little details really made me feel comfortable and welcome, and I ended up with a great cut! I will definitely be coming back here for future haircuts and color.
