  • Fun little location for a fun little barbeque spot. Service is friendly and quick, and the menus are hand-written and taped to the wall. There's definitely a friendly community vibe going on at this eatery with the two large picnic tables up front and bench seating in the back. Be wary of coming during peak hours, because the line-up could go out the door. Luckily, I arrived just before the big rush and managed to get a spot at the table. What I liked about the menu is that it only had the essentials, which made selection relatively easy. I went with the ribs plate, which comes with a side, coleslaw, and slices of pickle. As the side, I chose the deep fried mac n cheese, which was delicious! The beau had the pulled pork plate with a side of fries. While the ribs were great and the pulled pork tender, the fries were a little too salty and it seemed that the seasoning was a little heavy on the acidity. There was far too much vinegar in the coleslaw and hot sauce for our liking. Sadly, the brisket was sold out by the time we got there, so next time, we'll be back to try that and the burnt ends poutine.
