stayed here the last couple nights and woke up at 10am freaking out from construction noises. now just a heads up, it's not drilling from outside or a couple rooms down.. it literally sounds like it's on your ceiling. we started to freak out because we thought the ceiling was collapsing. when we called the front desk they said oh yeah we are doing rennovations. we asked if this is just something we are supposed to sleep through. I'm telling you I'm not a complainer but even when the TV was on the highest volume I couldn't hear the TV. they said there should be a note in our room saying that they are doing renovations to upgrade their hotel. a note in the room? really? how about a note when you book your room. why would anyone book a room here if they would be waking up like this every morning. definitely not fair to customers. and this will be going on for a while so my suggestion is for late 2016 or early 2017, book a room somewhere else. it is not worth the pricey rooms and expensive resort fees. I wasn't rude to the staff when I called the front desk to ask why we weren't notified of this construction. When I complained they said they would take off one nights resort fee. well just like every other review on this hotel, THEY LIED. they charged me for everything and when calling to complain, they don't care.
now for the actual rooms- I understand why they're upgrading it because so many details of the room make it feel like a cheap motel. it is clean and decent but decently older. (another reason to try somewhere else. you can stay somewhere newer for the same price). I had a king suite and there is a giant armoire directly across from you. it's just weird because the TV cabinet of the armoire is a refrigerator and your TV is way off to the side.
carpet and bathroom tile were sticky and uncomfortable so don't walk around barefoot.
the only plus for me was the location of the Paris and the food options. but I definitely will not return or recommend to any of my friends.
