| - Not the best service...heck, not even average There were 4 of us, and when we arrived around midnight, there was only one other customer, meaning there was no rush that might've otherwise explained the poor service. After the 1st order, he pretty much spewed a stream of words that not a single of us understood. When we asked for clarification, he gave a big sigh & would repeat himself, slower & much louder, as if we were stupid. There was an obvious strong Chinese accent, which we wouldn't fault him for, but our problem was that for each & every one of our orders, he would say something really jumbled up that we all had to ask for clarification on, after which he gave a strong impression of impatience & frustration, which made us prefer to take our drinks in the car instead of staying in the store, even though it was warmer inside. There was another point where he asked my friend what size she wanted, and when she said "regular," he said it only comes in large in an irritated way, so...that was him annoying himself unnecessarily I guess?
For his sake, as well as guest's sake, may I suggest a small chalkboard or whiteboard, with the daily tapioca specials? With them written down, he won't need to list the admittedly long spiel for each individual customer, and we won't have to deal with making a split second/unexpected decision while ordering, and nor will we have to be bothered by his frustrated attitude.
The 2 star is because the drinks were pretty good, but for my mango bon-bon, the mango chunks were way larger than I expected, so it could've been a more pleasant drinking/eating experience if they were smaller. Also, my mango pieces were sliced too close to the skin, so each piece had a firmer texture where it was too close to the peel, which also wasn't enjoyable. With so many bubble tea options in the area, I would say that you need great service to stand out, and I'm sorry to say that the service didn't make the drinks worth a re-visit in our case.
