So far this place has been pretty cool. Knowledgable and attentive instructors make the fundamentals class a great place to start doing Jui-Jitsu.The guy who runs the place(Casey Halstead) is a black belt under Eddie Bravo who started 10th Planet and is famous for beating Royler Gracie twice and kind of being a jui-jitsu innovator in general(also being hilarious on JRE). Casey has a few gyms in Southern California and trains some mma fighters, the one I'm most familiar with is Tony Ferguson because I'm pretty sure he's on a 7 fight win streak and he's just always super good. Anyway the fundamentals class is great, hey introduce skills and movements in a manner that gets work done and provides a context in which a beginner can familiarize themselves with those skills/movements.
