I purchase cut flowers for my mom's Birthday (73rd) the flowers were beautifully arranged. I called the day of with specific details. All was great, I spoke with Karen. I know flowers for my mom was a florist in NY for 35 years. When I arrived to my moms house. I noticed a few of the lilies were old, yellowing and brown on the edges. I also could tell the roses were not fresh either. The next day my mom called me and said the roses / the rose bunches were dead. They never fully opened at all. The lilies had also never fully. At least the buds that were closed never opened. I was so upset. I spent $50.00 I was disappointed to say the least. When Karen and I spoke I clearly knew flowers and knew what I wanted / etc. I would have thought she would have not tried to pawn semi on their way out flowers on me. She may not have even been the floral designer. Karen was lovely. But, again I wish she conveyed to someone to make it special i.e.: fresh flowers. I have never been to Bobbie's. Here is the real kicker. Two days later I email the email address I had for "Jimmy" ( the emailed receipt ) had his email address. Let them know the state of the flowers within (1) one day..... never heard back from anyone. The greens were brittle as well. The carnations are still going !! The cheapest part of the bouquet. LOL !! Wished I at least received a call or follow up email. I don't want anything in return. I just expected an acknowledgement.
The shop is adorable- lots of cute motif and charm.
It's important for local business' to know about the unhappy customers. I never would have been on YELP if I received a call / etc.
I have a 50th Birthday party tomorrow for my dearest friend... she is getting flowers from me - but not from Bobbie's
